Kiboi washing station is located in the region of Muranga and belongs under the auspices of Muguoiri 5 FCS. Cherries are bought from 410 small producers who live in the surrounding villages. Main harvest starts in October and usually lasts until January. The fly crop is from March until April. Coffee is processed traditionally, using disc pulpers and prolonged fermentation with post-soak in cold water. Drying takes place on African beds and usually lasts for approximately 7-15 days, depending on weather conditions.
